Despite the rising popularity of smartphones in recent years, most mobile phones in use worldwide aren’t smartphones. Milions of so called feature phones’ users can still use their phones to run games and applications thanks to the Java ME technology (Java Platform Micro Edition, formerly known as J2ME).
Java ME applications and games can run on almost all mobile phones that don’t use smartphone operating systems, including phones that are several years old. Symbian and Blackberry devices can also run Java ME applications next to native applications.
The abundance of devices of different form factors, capabilities and age able to run Java ME applications is a challenge for their developers. We have experience developing advanced Java ME applications, including applications integrated with internet services, working reliably across a wide range of mobile phones from different producers such as Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung, LG, Sagem and others.
To ensure their quality and compability with a wide range of mobile phones our Java ME applications are tested on nearly one hundred different test devices.
